We want to maintain our position as category leader, and to take the brand to new heights both nationally and internationally. Therefore, we are now looking for an experienced E-commerce Manager who will lead the work of shaping our digital visibility further, and to facilitate increased sales in our online store.
In the role of Global E-commerce Manager at Xplora, you will have leadership responsibility and overall responsibility for strategy, budgets, and priorities related to our online stores. You and your team will create a seamless digital customer experience on our website from the first click to checkout. This includes turnover and profitability responsibility. You will set the right commercial targets for the online store, in close collaboration with the CMO and VP/SVP sales. The position is located in the marketing department and reports directly to the CMO.
Your team will own the necessary budgets related to E-commerce and conversion optimization. The customer journey should be logical, optimal, and as simple and user-friendly as possible. Your team will consist of a Web Manager and a Performance Manager. In addition, we have our own marketing resources in our subsidiaries who contribute with local content production.
Experience and competence
We are looking for someone who has good business understanding, commercial sense, and an eye for visual content and details. You have experience and a burning interest in online sales, digital business development, and optimization of digital solutions. This is an international role, so it is an advantage if you have previously worked across borders.
We believe you have
- 5+ years of experience as an E-commerce Manager
- Very good understanding of E-commerce and performance marketing
- Interest in numbers, analysis and communication of insights and statistics
- High execution ability by translating insights into strategies as well as implementation and execution of concrete actions
- High technical understanding and insight into technology. Preferably good knowledge of Google Analytics, Shopify/Woocommerce or similar E-commerce platforms and other relevant technology
- Education from university/college in technology/marketing/E-commerce
