Norwegian is hiring: International Media Strategy Lead

The main objectives for the position will be to plan, negotiate and execute holistic media plans that help in reaching the Norwegian’s ambitious goals. Responsibilities will be to monitor and analyze competitive media and marketing strategies. Key tasks will be to prepare forecasts and reports that monitor and analyze key media metrics, quality, and campaign performance. You will oversee post-buy audit and optimization efforts to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the media plans.
You will interface directly with networks, affiliates, and partners to develop new advertising programs and secure premium media, and maintain and nurture the relations with media agencies to improve the effectiveness of the solutions implemented. In this role you will drive and execute innovative and effective media strategies across a robust mix of channels including, but not limited to, television, print, digital, mobile and out-of-home to drive awareness and sales of our products. As our Media Strategy Lead you will manage budgets planning and financial reporting for media campaigns, as you will be in charge of these aspects in accordance with delegation of authority and budget.
You will act as a strategic asset between Brand, Sale, Revenue management and e-commerce operation teams to deliver a creative, effective, and holistic media strategy.
The Media Strategy Lead will be a part of the Marketing, Sales and Customer Care department and will report to our Director of Ecom, Media and Campaign Operations.
You will work in close collaboration with Important External Contacts, such as management of media and creative agencies. Resources in data analytics, customer data, MarTech and decisioning areas. Brand and Marketing team for content, creative development, and production.
It is important in this role to coordinate strongly with our performance marketing team, to build a holistic and full funnel plan that chases synergies and cost saving opportunities.
We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 5 years managing, developing, and executing strategies for paid media. Experience in using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements. You have a strong knowledge of traditional and digital media landscape, as well as a strong grasp of the overall marketing ecosystem and specifically the role of upper funnel media and its connections with performance marketing.
